Known as the common ground for all the worlds people, the United Nations provides an uncommon setting for your important celebrations and meetings. In the Delegates Dining Room, the UNs tenets of security, peace, cooperation, friendship, respect and harmony come to life over good food and conversation.
UN Tours are available for a glimpse into the everyday life of the United Nations. Your UN guide, attired in either native dress or the Mondrian-designed official uniform, will take you and your group to the General Assembly, the Security Council Chamber and other places where history is made daily.
See extraordinary multi-cultural collections of paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and artifacts donated from all over the world. Favorites include the Japanese Peace Bell, cast from coins donated by children from 60 different nations, and works by Marc Chagall, Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso and Norman Rockwell. The international staff speaks more than 20 languages.
